A book club for new citizens in Rijeka, join us!

Dear book lovers, we’re happy to announce an exciting new addition to the Youth Department of Rijeka City Library: a brand-new book club!

If you are looking to share your favorite reads in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and meet like-minded people, join us.

The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 17:00h, in Rasadnik (Youth Department, Rijeka City Library).

We’ll meet once a month to explore different genres, chat about books, and connect. The club is a mix of English and Croatian, so you can practice English and pick up some Croatian along the way in a natural, fun setting.

The activity is taking place with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia and in cooperation with the Rijeka City of Refuge initiative.
